A long standing complication of rheumatoid arthritis,this syndrome is characterised by a triad of rheumatoid arthritis,splenomegaly and granulocytopenia(abnormally low WBC count).This affects less than 1% patients of rheumatoid arhtritis.since they have very low counts,they are more prone to repeated infections.
